Why this program works

Behaviour support that treats the cause, not just the symptoms

Instead of quick fixes or generic training tips, we combine clinical-level assessment, practical training, and emotional education. You will understand what your animal is feeling, why they are behaving that way, and exactly how to help them feel safe—step by step.

You are not left alone between sessions. With structured follow-up, webinars, ebooks and WhatsApp support, this is a complete behaviour change container—not just three isolated appointments.

Is this for you?

  • Your dog is reactive, fearful or anxious at home or on walks
  • You feel guilty, overwhelmed or worried you are "making it worse"
  • You want humane, science-based support (not punishment or force)
  • You are ready to commit to 6 weeks of guided change with expert help

Outcome: A calmer home, safer walks, and a relationship built on understanding—not fear.

Designed so you are supported before, during and after your sessions—no more finishing a consult and wondering what to do next.

How it works

From enquiry to calmer days in 3 simple steps

Step 1 — Book & assess

Choose your payment option and secure your place. You will receive intake forms so we can gather your dog’s history before your first session.

We schedule your full behavioural assessment and give you access to your first educational resources straight away.

Step 2 — Implement & adjust

Across your three core sessions, we implement your plan together. You practise new skills, we refine your set‑ups, and you get ongoing feedback via WhatsApp.

You can attend the body language and animal emotion webinars to deepen your understanding as you go.

Step 3 — Review & maintain

Your online follow-up session ensures you are confident about what has changed, what still needs support, and how to maintain progress long‑term.

With one month free trial to the VIP Behaviour Hub after the sessions finish, you keep learning and stay accountable after the intensive work is done.

Simple pricing

Everything above for less than the cost of a single behaviour consult plus follow-ups

Traditional behaviour support often charges separately for assessment, sessions, follow‑ups and extra resources. CalmCompanion brings it all together into one clear, complete program.

You can pay £365 upfront or spread the cost with a payment plan if that works better for your household.

What you would usually pay separately

  • Behavioural assessment & report: ~£180-£220

  • Three 1:1 behaviour sessions: ~£240–£300

  • Follow‑up review session: ~£70–£90

  • Education (webinars, ebooks, club):

  • Ongoing support & vet liaison: often not included

Total value well over £600. Your investment: £365 (or flexible plan).

Choose the payment option that fits you best

You are not the first to feel at the end of your tether

Most families come to Calm Companion feeling embarrassed, worried or like they have "tried everything". With clear guidance and consistent support, things change faster than they expect.

"We went from planning our walks around avoiding other dogs, to actually enjoying going out again. Understanding what our dog was feeling changed everything. The WhatsApp support in between sessions stopped me spiralling when we had a wobble."

Results vary and depend on your dog’s history and your consistency, but you will always leave with a clearer understanding and a practical plan.

Frequently asked questions

If you are unsure whether this is right for you or your dog, these answers may help. You can also reach out directly with specific questions.

What behaviours can this program help with?

The program is suitable for a wide range of behaviour concerns including reactivity towards dogs or people, fear and anxiety, separation‑related issues, resource guarding, handling difficulties and general over‑arousal. In your assessment we will clarify what is going on and whether we are the right fit. If we feel a different professional or medical route is needed, we will always tell you honestly.

Do I need a vet referral?

Vet input is always recommended for behaviour work, because pain and medical conditions can drive or worsen behaviour. We can work with your existing vet or help you access appropriate veterinary support. In some cases, particularly for severe aggression or sudden changes in behaviour, we may request veterinary checks before or alongside behaviour work.

How does the WhatsApp support work?

You will have a dedicated WhatsApp contact for the duration of your program. You can send short updates, questions or videos between sessions, and we will respond within agreed working hours. This means you can get reassurance and small corrections before things snowball, instead of waiting weeks for your next appointment.

What if I need to reschedule a session?

Life happens. We simply ask for reasonable notice (usually 48 hours) so we can offer your slot to another family. We will go through all policies when you enrol, and we always aim to be fair and compassionate while keeping spaces available for others who need help.

Is the payment plan more expensive?

Yes. The pay‑in‑full option is £365. The payment plan is £170 setup plus 2 monthly payments of £108 (total £386). Both options include the exact same program; the plan simply spreads the cost if that is easier for you.
